Paris, May 14, 2013 – With over 320 stores worldwide, French label The Kooples has taken a step forward to increase sales online. The ready-to-wear brand has selected Borderlinx Global eCommerce Solutions to support its online growth beyond European borders.

Specifically, The Kooples wanted to sell directly to the U.S. and other countries from a centralized warehouse near Paris. To do so, the retailer needed a partner who could offer international coverage to its eCommerce platform and accept orders from more than 60 countries.

With Borderlinx integrated solutions, the brand can now calculate and display taxes and duties by country of destination. The amount is collected in the shopping cart of the brand’s website and goods are shipped with DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) service. This eliminates the risk of an unexpected collection of taxes and duties to customers—an inconvenience that could generate shopper dissatisfaction and rejection of goods at the time of delivery.
